Ted Dekker:Skin

I finished The Call (2008) by James Grippando. I was sorry to say goodbye to two of my favorite characters: Jack Swyteck & Theo Knight. When you read books that carry over their characters into the next several . . . you tend to get rather attached! I hope the writer doesn’t ever do anything crazy by killing off these two guys. I would not be happy! So in the meantime, I will enjoy! Oh, by the way, there are 7 books in the Jack Swyteck series. Enjoy!

NEW BOOK: Skin by Ted Dekker
My husband, Brian, has read most of Ted Dekker’s thriller books. I have read two: Blink & Thr3e. Both were awesome. I will let you know what I think of this book when I finish. Please read an excerpt below. This is right off of Ted Dekker’s page.

Skin by Ted Dekker

1/20/08- I finished the book. What a ride! This book is twisted, but if you are familiar with Ted Dekker books, then you know his writing style. I was not expecting what I read in the last 20 pages. This is my third book I have read by Ted. I am definitely going to pursue more of his books.

Skin
In the tradition of Thr3e comes the most twisting, unpredictable Ted Dekker novel yet…a story of revenge with a shocking premise and numerous reversals.

A radically counter cultural story, Skin asks the question “what is beauty?” Far more than a philosophical question, it’s a matter of life and death when a serial killer blazes into Summerville, Nevada. What makes the beautiful ugly and the ugly beautiful? The answer will shock–and haunt–you long after the last page of Skin.
